Born in Derbyshire, I grew up surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Peak District, a love of the outdoors was instilled in me from an early age.

I was a keen young artist and went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at Norfolk Institute of Art & Design followed by a career working in London in various creative agencies. During my years in London I also studied printmaking and discovered a passion for it.

Relocating to Somerset provided the opportunity to set up my own business and more creative freedom. I now design and illustrate on a freelance basis and have my own printmaking ‘studio’ and online shop ‘The Pig Shed’.

The influences for my printmaking not surprisingly, come from my surroundings, my garden, cider-orchards, the rich landscapes and rolling coastlines of the South West and local folklore all of which fuel my passion for printmaking – I work mainly in linocut, with the occasional screenprint, collagraph and etching.
